Dan Dressman, Ed.D, President & Senior Consultant

Dr. Dan Dressman served as Executive Director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati for 12 years. He was designated in December of 2021 with the organization’s Honorary Lifetime Member Award. Before his tenure in Cincinnati, he served for nearly a decade in a similar capacity with the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky. He began his housing association career with the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors (aka Realtor Alliance of Greater Cincinnati) and has been involved in organizaion management for over 40 years.

Over the course of his career, Dressman – led organizations have received national recognition for strategic planning, membership development, government advocacy, education, home shows, communications, financial management, and diversity implementation. Dan has been a frequent regional spokesperson on housing-related issues with the Cincinnati media and the author of numerous land development, housing, and community planning articles. His book, Homeward Bound, covers the 80-year history of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati.

Dan has served as an adjunct instructor of management at the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business since 2016, training thousands of students in business strategy. He has also conducted numerous workshops for real estate professionals and organization CEOs.

Dressman holds a doctorate degree, Ed.D., in Leadership Studies from Xavier University, a masters degree in Public Affairs, MPA, from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelors degree, BA, in Mass Communications/Radio/TV/Film from Northern Kentucky University. Additionally, Dan is a certified dispute resolution mediator. He holds the national designations of Certified Association Executive (CAE), Building Industry Association Executive (BIAE), and Realtor Association Certified Executive (RCE).
